Help us welcome Robin Llewellyn as our new High School Assistant Principal!
Before joining Southeast Polk, Llewellyn served at Pella High School in Special Education for a year and spent ten years as an Instructional Coach at PCM Middle School. Her career began in health education at the middle and high school levels in Indiana.
“I am thrilled to be a part of and serve the students, staff, and families of Southeast Polk High School! I am overly impressed with the opportunities we provide students and the support offered at all levels. I am eager to learn more about what learning looks like here and how we can continue building a culture of growth, leadership, and success,” said Llewellyn.
Llewellyn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Health and Safety Education from Ball State University, where she was a four-year member of the Women’s softball team. She holds a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from Indiana University and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University.
Outside of school, Llewellyn enjoys spending time with her family. Her husband, Bryan, is a firefighter for the City of Des Moines, and their children, Lilly, Hazel, and Ryder, are active in sports year-round while attending school at PCM and Pella. In her free time, Llewellyn loves being outdoors, cheering on the Hawkeyes, and enjoys weightlifting, rucking, and crafting.
Welcome to the Ram Fam!
