Congratulations to our Southeast Polk High School students who earned the 2024 Spring Semester President’s and Dean’s Lists at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC)! Because of our strong partnership with DMACC, we are able to offer students opportunities to earn college certificate program credit at no cost to the student while still in high school. Upon their graduation from Southeast Polk, they’re already several credits ahead as they start their college careers!
We have three different programs available to our students:
2. DMACC online courses taken by SEP students
3. DMACC on-campus courses taken by SEP students
107 SEP Students have earned recognition on the Dean’s List achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Even more impressive are the 83 SEP students who have achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA to be placed on the President’s List!
Congratulations to all of the Southeast Polk High School students who are taking advantage of this opportunity. And a special shout out to these 190 students for this great achievement! You exemplify our district mission to prepare students for success in college, career and civic life!
