Spring Creek celebrated Skilled Trades Day with another successful Spring Creek Build Day!
First, Turner Construction spoke with all of the students about careers in the trades. Then students were put into groups, given limited supplies, specific specifications and even experienced “weather delays” as they built their businesses from the ground up. They named their businesses, created how to market their businesses and then built the buildings using cardboard, tape, pipe cleaners and other random items.
Judges determined one project from each classroom that was in the running for the top 3 Best Builds.
What a great hands-on experience of collaboration, creativity, innovation and fun!
