Four Mile teachers Dr. Kim McCoy Parker and Janet Riordan accepted a grant for hummingbird computer science kits for Four Mile Makerspace/STEM Lab.
SEP High School Industrial Technology teachers Steve McCoy and Ryan Andersen received a grant to purchase a new laser engraver/cutter for our industrial tech courses.
JIm Pifer, SEP Preschool-12 Science Coordinator, accepted the districtwide STEM grant for geocaching GPS kits with laser cutters for classroom literacy connections.
Stephanie Laird, SEP Preschool-12 Learning Supports Coordinator, received a grant for iPads and talking point earbuds to facilitate removing barriers and engaging English Learners and their families.
The Southeast Polk Home School Assistance Program received a grant for pocket lab kits and a collaboration with the Science Center of Iowa.
Delaware Elementary received a grant for a biofeedback tool called Mightier Watch to help reduce behavior crises and strengthen emotional control.
