Parents will have the opportunity to choose between face to face or virtual Parent Teacher Conferences at Southeast Polk Junior High on March 4th and 6th. We will link below the information that has been shared through Campus Messenger regarding Parent Teacher Conferences this spring-
Communication #1 – Information sent out 2/19/24
Monday March 4th – Students will be released from school at the normal time (2:45). Teachers will be available for Parent Teacher Conferences from 4:00 -8:00 p.m.
Wednesday March 6th– Students will be released from SEP Junior High at 11:10 a.m. There will be a “grab and go” breakfast available. NO HOT MEAL will be served at the middle of the day. Teachers will be available for Parent Teacher Conferences from 12:30 – 7:30 p.m. The bell schedule will look like this for the day.
NORMAL SCHOOL DAY ON THURSDAY March 7th We will have a normal school day on March 7th with release time being at 2:45.
NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY March 8th! Due to conferences, there will be no classes in session for students on March 8th. This is the start of Spring Beak. Classes will be back in session on March 18th with a regular schedule (Black Day).
SEP Junior High Administration will be available for conferences if you would like to sign up and speak with an administrator (same process as registering for conferences with teachers).
SEP Instructional Coaches will be available for questions and provide directions to teachers rooms if you are coming for a face to face meeting. You can sign up to virtually meet with an instructional coach regarding Canvas and other general questions in the same manner you do for teachers (7th grade question and help; 8th grade question and help).
No Book Fair During Parent Teacher Conferences– Due to a change of process by Scholastic, we will not be hosting a Book Fair for Parent Teacher Conferences.
