The Southeast Polk Community School District Board of Education is a non-partisan group of community individuals who serve the Southeast Polk Community School District by putting our students, staff and families first. The School Board represents the parents and citizens of our community. They are dedicated to the SEP Vision and Mission and focus on our Core Values.
At Southeast Polk, school board directors are elected at-large and represent the entire school district. They receive no compensation for their service as a school board director. Each school board director is elected for a term of four years. Terms are staggered to ensure continuity of leadership.
The 2023 SEP School Board election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, with four seat openings.
