Each month, the School Board visits one of our buildings across the district. Today they saw the awesomeness of Altoona Elementary! Principal Morgan Miller shared how they make collaborative leadership a priority and it shows. Also, Leader in Me, a district-wide initiative, is apparent throughout the building, both in the classrooms and on the walls (thanks to the artwork)! Leader in Me is an evidence-based, comprehensive model that builds leadership and life skills in students, creates a high-trust school culture, and lays the foundation for sustained academic achievement.
