Southeast Polk Community School District has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2020 honor by the Des Moines Register for the sixth year in a row. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
Southeast Polk Superintendent, Dr. Dirk Halupnik, shared, “We are very honored to receive this distinction for the sixth year in a row. What makes this designation special is that it comes directly from our employees and we are very proud of that.”
The Southeast Polk Community School District is committed to recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce focused on creating a collaborative environment that puts students first and establishes high expectations for student learning and achievement.
“Thank you to our dedicated, skilled and caring staff who work so hard to implement our vision. We are fortunate to have such great people here at Southeast Polk,” shared Halupnik.
The survey was administered several months ago with more than 700 of our staff participating. Only 116 companies made this year’s list and Southeast Polk School District is the only large school district that made the list.
“In times of great change, it is more important than ever to maintain a connection among employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward based on real-time insights into what works best for your organization. The Top Workplaces program can be that positive outcome your company can rally around in the coming months to celebrate leadership and the importance of maintaining an employee-focused culture, even during challenging times.”
A big thank you to all of our employees, who helped to make this recognition happen!
