The Southeast Polk Community School District is excited to announce Mike Kaut as the new Girls Varsity Soccer Head Coach. Mike most recently has served as an assistant coach for the Southeast Polk Boys Soccer program for five years. He also served as the head coach of the Boys Soccer program at Dowling Catholic for ten years. Mike played collegiate soccer at Grandview University, as well as playing professionally for the Des Moines Menace.
Jayson Campbell, Southeast Polk Activities Director, shared, “We are excited to welcome Mike Kaut as the next girls head soccer coach. Mike has an extensive background on multiple levels as a player and coach. We look forward as he continues to build upon our program here at Southeast Polk.”
Mike and his wife Diane live in Pleasant Hill and have three children who attend or have graduated from Southeast Polk.
