Southeast Polk Community School District has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2019 honor by the Des Moines Register for the fifth year in a row. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
Southeast Polk Superintendent, Dr. Dirk Halupnik, shared, “We are very honored to receive this distinction for the fifth year in a row. What makes this designation special is that it comes directly from our employees and we are very proud of that.”
The Southeast Polk Community School District is committed to recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce focused on creating a collaborative environment that puts students first and establishes high expectations for student learning and achievement.
“Thank you to our dedicated, skilled and caring staff who work so hard to implement our vision. We are fortunate to have such great people here at Southeast Polk,” shared Halupnik.
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
