What a great morning for a Fun Run! On Friday, Sept. 20, the Clay PTA held their 3rd Annual Fun Run in the Clay Elementary parking lot. This year has been the best yet, raising $26,513 and gathering donations from 23 states and 137 cities!
Every Clay student from Pre-K to 5th Grade gets to participate in the Fun Run and receives a Clay Fun Run spirit shirt. All money raised from the run pays for field trips, classroom technology and supplies, playground equipment, and other items for the building’s students and staff throughout the year.
Top individual class was Team Rueber 5th Grade raising $1855.
Top grade was 4th Grade raising $5484.
There were 69 students who raised $150; 116 students who raised $100 or more; and 243 students who raised $50 or more. Great job everyone!
