CMD Spanish Stays - led by Iowa native Chanda Danley (1996 graduate of Colfax-Mingo High School and 1999 graduate of Central College) as the local onsite program director - offers a 4-week summer Spanish immersion program for teens aged 14-17 in León, Spain from June 16th to July 15th.

An introductory basketball camp for boy students entering grades K - 2nd. The camp will focus on the fundamentals of shooting and dribbling with an age appropriate basketball and rim height.

Select Physical Therapy and Iowa Ortho are hosting their annual FREE physical event for all metro middle & high school students. The event is on Thursday, July 18th from 5:30 - 8:00 pm at Iowa Ortho in Des Moines. Pre-register or walk-in. [Note: Translation services not available on site].

Katie Dinnebier Youth Basketball Camp will be led by current Drake Women's Basketball player Katie Dinnebier. Katie was the 2023-24 MVC Player of the Year and a graduate of Waukee High School. Participants of the camp will learn basketball fundamentals, compete in scrimmages & other fun activities! 

The RAMS Girls Basketball Club (RBC) strives to develop athletes for the next stage of their basketball development. Attention will be paid to fielding the most competitive teams possible, while supporting the best interests of the entire Southeast Polk basketball program.

The Running Rams youth basketball program is designed to create a competitive atmosphere for the students of the Southeast Polk School District. Our goal is to offer kids 3rd - 8th grade a higher level of competition while developing the fundamental skills of basketball.

The Kid's Farmers Market Summer Program is a free event that takes place from 4-7pm every Monday from June-Aug. during The Community Farmers Market of Pleasant Hill.
