Spring Creek Open House

Hello Spring Creek families.  It is hard to believe but we are less than a month away from the new school year starting. The first day for the 2023-2024 school year will be Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023 (This will NOT be a late start day for 6-12 grade students per the  district academic calendar).  We were excited to welcome over 200 students into the building for Mission Transition yesterday and are ready for a lot more students to come next week for the second session.  Below are several important dates to remember as we get ready for the 23-24 school year at Spring Creek:

1. Open House will be Monday, August 7th (11 am – 7 pm) and again on Wednesday, August 9th (8 am – 3 pm).  Students can come and go as needed as there is no set schedule for these days and teachers will not be in the building.  Any student attending our Open House will need to have an adult with them.    STUDENTS WILL TAKE THEIR SCHOOL PICTURES DURING THE OPEN HOUSE!
2. Other things students will be able to accomplish during the Open House include: take a self-guided tour of the building (maps available), access lockers and put away their school supplies, visit their classrooms (teachers will not be available on these dates), meet the front office staff- Miss Linda, Mrs. Casey, Nurse Rogers, and Mr. Ballagh, and of course ask any questions about the upcoming school year.
3. Please bring a printed copy of your schedule any time you visit the building as we will not be providing one.  If you log on to Campus Portal choose “Documents” on the left hand side.  You will find a schedule that contains your locker number and combination at the bottom3.
4. Spring Creek Orientation will be held Monday, August 21st in the gymnasium.  Any student with the last name starting with letters A – L will attend at 5:30 pm.  Any student with the last name starting with letters M – Z will attend at 7:00 pm.  This event is for both students and parents.  Students will be able to meet their teachers for a quick presentation and parents will stay in the gym with Principal Ballagh for an overview of the upcoming school year.
5. Make sure you “Like” us on Facebook and “Follow” us on Twitter.  We love to showcase all the great things happening at Spring Creek.
6. Don’t forget to visit RamMall to add money to lunch accounts or pay any fees for the 23-24 school year.

We are beyond excited to welcome your child to Spring Creek.  We look forward to seeing you and your child at upcoming events in our school.  For now, enjoy the last few weeks of summer vacation.  Go Rams!
