Two years ago, Runnells Elementary implemented a pickup system for our west door pickup lane. This system helped keep vehicles off of Highway 316. Please view the map below to understand our procedure. Entering vehicles will first line up alongside the sidewalk. Once the line reaches Highway 316, the next vehicles will make a second line. When school is dismissed, students will be dismissed to the vehicles in the first line. Once the last vehicle, in the first line, passes the second line, the vehicles in the second line can then transition to the first line along the sidewalk. The main goal of this procedure is to keep everyone safe at all times. Thank you for your cooperation and patience. We appreciate all your support of education at Runnells Elementary.
Please note: If you arrive after the first line starts moving forward, please get in the second line and wait your turn.

Preschool pick up
Runnells Elementary would appreciate it if you arrive early for west door pick up to allow the preschool parents first access to the front of the line to pick up their child. If you arrive before 3:10/3:15 pm, please pull your vehicle to the west side of the lane so the preschool parents can get their children. Once they are done, then you may pull back over to begin the regular pick up process for our students.
