This semester, Southeast Polk High School students enrolled in the course Rise have been hard at work planning and completing projects for local businesses. Rise is in its second year at SEP High School as part of the curriculum for upperclassmen wanting to take a hands-on business class.
One of the student groups is partnering with The Science Center of Iowa to plan their annual Halloween event, “Spooky Science.” The students have planned everything for this event including decorations, experiments, activities, goodie bags, promotion and marketing materials, ticket sales, and have even lined up donations and sponsorships to assist in making it happen.
Now as the time nears for all of their hard work to come to fruition, these students would love to invite you to attend their event! There are different event times to choose from for your family’s convenience.
