Girls Wrestling: Congrats to our SEP Girls Wrestling team for their 1st place finish! 9 qualifiers are advancing to state. Way to go girls!
Boys Wrestling: Congrats to the JV Wrestling teams this weekend. We had a team in Auburn who finished first this past weekend! 22 athletes competed, 18 made the podium with 4 champions. We had another team in Fort Dodge who also finished first out of 24 teams! Nice works boys! The Boys Regionals are Tuesday, February 4th starting at 6:00 PM at Southeast Polk High School
Boys Swim: Congrats to Desmond Ortega for finishing in the Top 10 for the 200Y Individual Medley. Way to go Desmond!
RhythAMettes: Tryouts for next year’s team will be held on April 15th – 16th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the auxiliary gym. All dancers entering grades 9 – 12 next year are eligible. Please contact head coach Marianne Peterson with any questions at marianne.peterson@southeastpolk.org
Are you a high school junior or senior interested in a paid summer internship? The Iowa Insurance Division offers a 10-week paid internship opportunity beginning June 2, 2025, for high school juniors and seniors who wish to gain real world experience in the insurance industry as an insurance regulator. Interested juniors and seniors should visit the Iowa Insurance Division website to learn more. Juniors and seniors interested in exploring the insurance industry through this 10-week, paid summer internship opportunity should send a cover letter and resume to internships@iid.iowa.gov. Applications for the summer internship opportunity are due February 28, 2025.

Students: A friendly reminder when arriving to school after the doors are locked. Please use the correct entry doors to scan into the building. If you are late or coming back from an appointment use the LATE scanner so your attendance is accurately recorded. The Study Hall Release scanner is ONLY used for students coming in from release and Harbor students.

After the student has completed Driver Education, visit the High School front office to receive the appropriate paperwork to take to the DOT office. The student must also have their a current permit available.
