Girls Basketball: The SEP Girls Basketball team takes on Ottumwa Saturday, February 22nd in the first round of regionals. Tip off is at 7:00 PM at Southeast Polk High School. For scoring updates, standings and tickets click here.
Boys Swimming: Congrats to our swimmers! Desmond Ortega finished 5th in the 100 back stroke. Desmond’s prelims time also puts him in All American consideration based off the top 100 times in the country in each event! 400 Free Relay Team of Snetselaar, B Hammond, A Hammond & D Ortega finishes 11th & sets a new SEP school record! Girls Wrestling: Our very own Southeast Polk junior, Skylar Slade, represented the USA in the KLIPPAN LADY OPEN in Klippan, Sweden in the KLIPPAN LADY OPEN this past weekend.
Girls Track & Field: The Team Store is open to anyone! A portion of each sale will go back to the Girls Track & Field team. The store is scheduled to close February 20th and the estimated ship date is March 6th. Contact chad.willeford@southeastpolk.org with questions.

Cheer Tryouts: Tryouts for 9-12 grade cheer are scheduled for April 11th in the High School auxiliary gym starting at 4:00 PM. The pre-tryout practiced is scheduled for April 9th in the auxiliary gym from 3:15 – 5:00 PM
RhythAMettes: Tryouts for next year’s team will be held on April 15th – 16th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the auxiliary gym. All dancers entering grades 9 – 12 next year are eligible. Please contact head coach Marianne Peterson with any questions at marianne.peterson@southeastpolk.org

Prom is Saturday, April 5, 2025, in the High School Commons from 8:00 – 10:00 PM. More information on Prom and Post-Prom events are to come.

Students: A friendly reminder when arriving to school after the doors are locked. Please use the correct entry doors to scan into the building. If you are late or coming back from an appointment use the LATE scanner so your attendance is accurately recorded. The Study Hall Release scanner is ONLY used for students coming in from release and Harbor students.

After the student has completed Driver Education, visit the High School front office to receive the appropriate paperwork to take to the DOT office. The student must also have their a current permit available.
