Zoom Link to Family Session: Supporting Students in All Learning Pathways
Southeast Polk Families,
We appreciate the role you continue to play in supporting the learning pathways during this unique school year. To further support these efforts, I will be hosting a family session on “Supporting Students in All Learning Pathways”. This virtual session will include:
The recommendations that will be shared are based on ideas from the book “The Distance Learning Playbook for Parents – How to Support Your Child’s Academic, Social and Emotional Development in Any Setting, ” by Rosalind Wiseman, Doug Fisher, Nancy Frey, and John Hattie. During this hour-long session, recommendations will be shared around the following ideas:
We aren’t asking you to become the teacher, but we want to continue to grow our partnership to assist you to support the learning opportunities that we provide.
This interactive session will be held Thursday, December 3rd, and repeated on Monday, December 7th. Both sessions will be held from 6:00 PM -7:00 PM and will be recorded for those wanting to participate at an alternative time.
